Where has the time gone? Am I the only one here wondering how the heck it's July already? I recently graduated (which will explain my long absence), I've helped my family with some family stuff, spent some time relaxing and doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, did some cooking, cleaning, and I've been enjoying some time away from my computer (sometimes my poor eyes need a rest).
But, I'm back today after a trip to Whole Foods (with a much lighter wallet, I might add) and I just can't wait to tell you all about the products I'm using for SUMMER.
There's no better excuse to buy some more beauty products than the changing seasons, AMIRIGHT? :)

Lush Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream
I wanted to start with the most seemingly bizarre product in the bunch here. This is a "Breast Cream" from Lush (you read that right). Let me explain...
When I walked into Lush the other day (for the second time in my life), I didn't expect to be walking out with anything, let alone a lotion that claimed to leave my décolletage area "smelling like a fresh floral bouquet of orange blossom, rose, jasmine and ylang ylang." Needless to say, I was intrigued by how this would work. I tested it on my arm in the store and I liked the ingredients. I'm very picky when it comes to ingredients.
I went home and looked up this product on the internet and read some shining reviews about it. I just wanted to know that it was worth the money and was all that it was cracked up to be. The description on Lush's website for this product says it will "keep your knockers in tit top shape" and that it will give you a "pert pair". Funny right?
Anyway, even if I am not sure yet that it does what it claims to do, it smells amazing (and that's worth the money in itself). I don't usually spend this much on lotions and potions, but I noticed that it's made with some quality ingredients like organic almond and jojoba oil and I know it will last me a while because a little goes a long way. I also like that the company does not test on animals. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
Also, don't be afraid to use this stuff all over, like a body lotion. Why should the girls have all the fun? Ok, I'm done with boob jokes for a while...

Dr. Bronner's Rose Bar Soap
That's a hard act to follow. And now for something completely different... Here's a boring bar of soap. But hey, the wrapping claims it's "magic" so it can't be all that boring, right? Not much more I can say about this other than it smells like roses! That's pretty magical, right? Oh AND they use fair trade ingredients. :)
Desert Essence Coconut Haircare
Now on to the haircare! I love the whole Desert Essences Coconut line- the Shampoo, the Conditioner and (my favorite) the Coconut Hair Defrizzer and Heat Protector.
This brand is available at Whole Foods and Sprouts.

100% Pure Purity Facial Cleanser and Mask
Let's talk about facial care now. This product is seriously great as both a facial cleanser AND a mask. It's made for acne-prone skin. It also has a nice tingle to it, so it feels like it's actually DOING something! I wouldn't use it to remove makeup, however. Please refer to the next item to see what I use to take off my makeup...
Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing wipes
I know what you're thinking: "Coconut water! That sounds fancy." Yes, that is kinda fancy, but these wipes are somewhat affordable (6 bucks for a 30 count package) and they sell these at my local Target and Sprouts. Plus they smell like Pina Coladas (and who doesn't like those?).
These lil bursts of tropical paradise are what I use to take off my makeup at the end of the day (or when I'm just too lazy to wash my face). They are gentle on the eye area and I think they work quite well in removing my waterproof eye makeup too, even though the website says they don't work well on waterproof makeup. Maybe it is because I use mostly natural and gentle eye makeup. Either way, I just want you to know that they might not be as effective on super waterproof stuff. They work for me, though. Also, if you are concerned about waste, the wipes are biodegradable!

Heritage Rosewater Spray
This lil spray is great as a light moisturizer for your face and body. I use it before applying my makeup. Also, you can take it with you to refresh your skin on-the-go. Bonus: smells like freshly cut roses. (FYI: They sell this at Whole Foods)
Alba Botanica Sunless Tanner
Not only does this sunless tanner give my skin a nice hint of bronze, but it makes it feel softer and less dry. And this moisturizing effect lasts for days. It's a win-win for my skin! I got this at my Whole Foods store, by the way.
Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Deodorant with Lavender
This is probably the most effective natural deodorant I've ever tried (and I've tried quite a few). It's free of aluminum and all the other nasties. Plus it passed the stink and sweat test enough for me to buy a second tube. This is the first natural deodorant to make it to Round 2. Hopefully it can take the heat (literally) as the days get hotter...
You can find this brand at Whole Foods or Sprouts.

Aubrey Organics Calendula Blossom Deodorant Spray
Sometimes, I need to double-up on my pit protection in the summer (especially when I'm using the natural stuff). I like this spray for on-the-go situations (to freshen up after working out, etc.). It's lightweight and has a nice floral scent that's sure to not overwhelm everyone around you.
This is also available at Whole Foods and Sprouts.
